Your meetings,
remembered.
A personal AI assistant that lives on your Mac. No bot joins your calls. Every meeting becomes clean notes, real to-dos, and searchable memory.
From conversation to done,
without lifting a finger.
Walk in prepared
Before the call, Owl briefs you from your own history: what was decided last time, what's still open, what to cover. One click to record.
Record, without a bot
Owl captures the audio on your Mac itself: your mic plus the call. Nothing joins the meeting, and you can jot your own notes while it listens.
Owl writes
The moment you stop, Owl writes structured notes the way a great chief of staff would: sections, decisions, next steps. Every speaker named.
Work moves forward
Real commitments become to-dos with owners and deadlines, filed into the right workstream. Owl even plans your week around them.
Meetings
Every meeting, captured. No bot required.
- Records on your device, mic plus the call's audio. Nothing joins your meeting.
- Live view while you record, with your own notes pad. Owl weaves your jottings into the final summary.
- Speaker-labelled transcript: who said what, with real names taken from your calendar.
- Calendar-aware: Owl shows what's coming up and offers to record when a call starts.
Notes
Notes that organise themselves.
- Every captured meeting becomes a dated page of structured notes: sections, decisions, next steps.
- Recurring meetings file into the same workstream automatically. One place holds every weekly that ever happened.
- A real editor when you want to write by hand, with your words always kept separate from Owl's.
- Action items on a page are live: tick one off in Notes and it's done in To-Do's too.
To-Do's
A to-do list that fills itself.
Commitments from meetings become tasks automatically, with the owner attached. Owl is strict: ideas and hypotheticals don't become tasks. Anything it isn't sure about waits in "Needs review" for one tap.
Add your own in plain words: "Email Sam tomorrow 5pm p1" just works.
Priorities, deadlines, sub-tasks, recurring tasks, reminders. Plus a focus plan that slots your open tasks into free time between meetings.
Built private, from the first line of code.
On-device capture
Audio is captured and processed on your Mac. Owl never joins your call, never records video, never screenshots your screen.
No accounts to invent
Sign in once with Google. That's your login and your calendar connection.
Your data lives on your Mac
Meetings, notes and tasks are stored locally, under your own user account. Nothing is shared with other people.
Notarized by Apple
Every build is code-signed and scanned by Apple before it reaches you.
Up and running in two minutes.
- Download Owl-1.0.dmg and open it.
- Drag Owl to Applications, then open it.
- Sign in with Google. One step: your login, your calendar, and Owl's AI.
- Allow two permissions: microphone, and system audio recording. That's how Owl hears the other side of the call. Owl walks you through both.
- Record your first meeting.
Questions, answered.
Never. Owl runs on your Mac and listens to the audio your Mac already plays, and records from your mic. Nothing appears in the participant list.
No. Owl asks for system audio recording plus your microphone, and takes only the sound. No video, no screenshots, ever.
All of them. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack huddles, phone calls played through your Mac, and in-person conversations via the mic.
English and Hindi/Hinglish are first-class. Hindi is written in Devanagari, English stays in English, and numbers come out right.
On your Mac. Meetings, transcripts, notes and to-dos live in local files under your user account.
Owl matches voices to your calendar invitees and to how people introduce themselves. Your own voice is identified from your microphone. When it isn't sure, it says "Speaker 2" rather than guessing.
During the pilot, nothing. Access is by invitation.
Yes for now. macOS 14.4 or later.
